Nos enorgullece presentar 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐘𝐗𝐒 𝐈𝐕:

_4a iteración del proyecto de ᴊᴏʏᴇʀíᴀ ᴛᴇʀᴀᴛᴏɢéɴɪᴄᴀ, de la artista mexicana @manuhuesca + el artista español @miss_perkances

_en la sᴀʟᴀ ᴅᴇ ᴇxʜɪʙɪᴄɪóɴ ᴅᴇ ᴊᴏʏᴇʀíᴀ ᴄᴏɴᴛᴇᴍᴘᴏʀáɴᴇᴀ: #JXTX

Performance que fusiona prácticas de alta joyería y bdsm para construir imágenes queer. La ᴊᴏʏᴇʀíᴀ ᴛᴇʀᴀᴛᴏɢéɴɪᴄᴀ se refiere a una categoría de ornamentos que no pretenden construir sobre ideales hegemónicos de belleza, sino que adornan y acompañan a los cuerpos en su devenir monstruos, agentes teratógenos que someten al cuerpo y lo intervienen para producir la deformidad como gesto político; joyas cuir que son herramientas autopoéticas para dislocar y retorcer los binarismos de género. En 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐘𝐗𝐒 𝐈𝐕 se muestra el proceso de ornamentación de dos cuerpos. Se exhiben finas joyas de plata con cristales. Dos cuerpos entran en escena y colocan las joyas sobre o a través del cuerpo del otro. Conectan sus cuerpos con cadenas de plata con cristales y joyas. Cuando las joyas están en su lugar, comienzan una danza intercambiando roles entre la Venus sumisa y la dominante.

Performance artwork that fuses haute jewelry and bdsm practices in order to build queer images. The ᴛᴇʀᴀᴛᴏɢᴇɴɪᴄ ᴊᴇᴡᴇʟʀʏ concept, refers to a category of ornaments that do not intend to build on hegemonic ideals of beauty, but rather adorn and accompany bodies in their becoming monsters, teratogenic agents that subdue the body and intervene to produce deformity as a political gesture; queer jewels that are autopoetic tools to dislocate and twist gender binarisms.

𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐔𝐒 𝐄𝐍 𝐉𝐎𝐘𝐗𝐒 𝐈𝐕 shows the process of ornamentation of two bodies. Fine silver jewelry with crystals is on display. Two bodies enter the scene and place the jewelry artwrosk on or through their bodies, connected with silver chains adorned with crystals and pearls. When the jewels are in place, they begin a dance exchanging roles between the submissive and dominant Venus.
